STORY

to
POP-UP FINE DINING IN THE HEART OF EAST DULWICH.

Local girl, Chloe Gounder-Forbes, has built a platform for up-and-coming chefs to devise and lay out their own menus, along with establishing a name for themselves.

We welcome next Oxalis, a new modern British concept, led by chefs Nick Ross & Max de Nahlik. The perfect marriage of seasonal British ingredients and classic French technique, you will not be disappointed! This residency is from the 6th April – 30th September, with the menu changing on a monthly basis. Scroll down and check out the A la carte menu. The tasting menu is always available at £35pp.

Devoted to growing, our micro-herb and veg garden is maintained on a grow-to-order basis from our kitchen and bar. We are just in the process of planting now. As the walls say ‘Please Don’t Ash In The Garnish’! Our team is also highly committed to supporting the underdogs; great and deep thought has gone into the wine list focusing mainly on rare, forgotten and indigenous grape varieties. Keeping in the theme of rotation, expect our drinks menu to rotate as well!

Please note, we always offer a Tasting menu (T) of 5/6 Courses @ £35, as well as our A la Carte menu. We can meet most dietary requirements, if known in advance. 

In addition to our main menu we do provide catering for big parties, private hire of the restaurant and private tasting events. Please contact us for any enquiries.

Oxalis  – the largest genus of the wood sorrel family!

Oxalis will be with us from 06/04 – 30/09 taking us through the Spring and Summer months, which we are very excited about!

Nick Ross and Max de Nahlik have come together to start Oxalis London. Having met and worked together at various fine dining restaurants in London, they agreed on the need to start something they could call their own!

Nick has focused his career in French fine dining working at Cafe Boulud, New York and Merchants Tavern. Max’s passion is seasonal, British ingredient-led dining, having trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine. He later worked under Peter Weeden at Newman Street Tavern and the Riverford Organics at The Duke of Cambridge. 

The two friends have come together to create an ever changing menu of British ingredient led dining underpinned by French technique.

We are very excited to have the boys in our kitchen before they spread their wings! Discover them here first!

Australia Winemakers Day – This is going to be epic! We are happy to be hosting 3 of my favourite Australian winemakers from Vinteloper Wines, Dal Zotto Vineyard and the Bellweather vineyard, all producing premium wines. They will be showing their entire range, so this is a great opportunity to try everything in one place!

From 12-4pm – drop in and get your palates going!
